New Amberwood Co-Production Finds Home at TVO Kids
Ottawa, Canada, September 28, 2010 – UK’s CleverCat Productions and Canada’s Amberwood Entertainment have secured a development deal with Canada’s TVO Kids for their new pre-school series The Baba House.
The Baba House is a motion capture series for pre-schoolers, created by Caroline Roberts of CleverCat Productions. The series is driven by the antics of five very different Babas as they reach milestones that are familiar to all toddlers.
“The Baba House offers pre-schoolers a place of warmth, joy and reassurance which reflect their own world and everyday lives” explains Chantal Ling, Executive Vice-President at Amberwood. “We are delighted to be working again with Pat Ellingson and TVO Kids as they are the perfect home for The Baba House.”
Amberwood and CleverCat will commence development with TVO Kids this Fall and intend to co-produce the series as an international treaty co-production between Canada and the United Kingdom.
